Well all is still fine just as feisty as ever. Eating and chasing other damsels. Most of the mass has fallen off, Theres just a bit left thats barely hanging on, I would think it will fall off shortly, Well at least i hope.
The skin is starting to close off around it on the fish and looking good.
All i can do is keep up on water quality and make sure its nice and clean so she does not get a secondary infection. I keep sps mainly and try to keep water good and clean.

You might try feeding her Dr. G's medicated food. It's reef & invert safe.

Well all is done with, Her belly is healed and no scar. You can't even tell it was there.
If i didnt see it i would not believe it. She did not miss a beat. You would think if something ruptured thru your belly you were a goner. Nope it eventually all fell off and the skin closed up.
I still to this date have NOT seen her lay a clutch of eggs, but she does go into a small cave every few weeks and keeps the damsels away. The male never go's near that cave though.

i had a fish with this a year ago but could never figure out what it was. didn't spread to the other fish. it seemed to be fine for a while. then it started to do some heavy breathing and ultimately died. my only guess was that it was a bacterial infection of an organ.

My Yellow tail flasher wrasse that I have had for 2 years died just this week with these symptoms

My vote would be some sort encysted parasitic issue.
