Very funny Randy :D

BTW, 42 is a special number:
gallons of oil in a barrel
teeth in a dog (and Moby Dick!)
Elvis's "Final" age
dots on a pair of dice
generations in Gospel of Matthew
critical angle of refraction by water
etc, etc...

But most importantly: put this (without quotes) into google:
"the answer to life, the universe, and everything"

Matt

Most of the quotes in my signature have been from Douglas Adams ;)

Alright, that's too fricken deep. (google it)

It amazes me to consider people who are so deep and others who are so shallow. and I'm just little me (or maybe I'm not even that...):hmm4:

fast attack hi-jack:uzi:

Yeah, my two default answer when someone says, "Hey, I've got a question' are 6 (because it's easy) and 42 because it is the meaning of life;).

You know...I never knew that that is why you have 42 there.

But as soon as I saw you say "it's a special number" I immediately thought...yeah...it's the answer to life, the universe, and everything. hah hah. SEE I do read! Just not reef books.

The book was good... The movie... Not so much... :) I haven't read the sequel... Anyone???

I just wanted to say I am enjoying those little x-mas hats on your fish avatars. Do you guys do that every year? If so, do you do it for all holidays? like easter? also, I want on on that action once I have enough posts to qualify for a real pic!:eek2:

Yeah so I hated the movie actually. The robot guy was too big.

I have read some of the sequels but not all of them. Brent wants to read them though...hopefully Santa Claus is going to help him out with the books.

Call me crazy, I loved the movie. Love the books too...Douglas who? :D

Matt, most of my quotes tend to be from Monty Python, but I made an exception this week.

Didn't know there were multiple sequels... :) Maybe I'll just have to go ahead and buy the series... Merry Christmas to me... Oh wait... Forgot, I'm already getting a set of Tunzes...

Yeah Zombieman, you gotta post once-in-a-while! Maybe we could do seasonal hats for our avatars?!

I've read the books, although I think my "collection" is missing one of them... I thought the movie was ok, but, that type of humor just doesn't carry over on-screen very well...I think maybe it needs to be read.

Way to go on the quote Fred, good to see some variety in there...I need to change it up a little too...

Well, this thread's been all over -- Thanks Tracey! BTW, I spoke to John from CRA today ;)

Listen, seeing that I know next to nothing about corals and such, and I have a dial up connection you are lucky to see me post at all, I am keeping time, and yep, It took me 10 minutes to get this far, and this was the first thing I did.........dial-up blows:(

....And I log off a site because their servers are too busy to give me a page in under 10 secs... I couldnt handle dial up....

Randy, If you've already done the pricing research on the Tunzes let me know your conclusion (PM or here). I've decided I'm getting some for my new tank. A pair with a controller!

Don~ Really it will depend on what you end up getting as far as tank size... Tunze is starting to put out some new products... :D I just picked up their Nanostream 6025 for my Aquapod about a month or so ago, and I LOVE it... Like the 6060 and 6080 they don't use a controller... But they're about to release the 6055 which is compatable with a controller like the 6000, 6100, and 6200... The nice thing about the Nanostreams is that they come with Magnet mounts and they use ~ 7watts of electricity... Anyways, LMK when you decide to make the plunge and I'll give you all the info I've accumulated... ;) Or just start up a tunze thread... :uzi:
