Clownfish Breeding in DT (no other fish)

Just noticed my clowns laid eggs and they are currently the only (fish) inhabitants of my tank. Hass anyone ever had any success with fry without setting up a separate tank? Other than the CUC, I don't think there is anything that would want to make a meal out of them. Of course, my overflow might suck them into my sump. But is there really zero chance of survival for these guys? Theyre currently silver and the female is constantly picking at them with her mouth and fanning them w her tail.

Actually, there's a great chance you could collect the larvae as they hatch. Mine are breeding in my display with lots of other fish, and I have successfully raised a batch that hatched in the display. Then they need to get moved to a rearing tank for proper feeding.
Of course, you should be ready for a few late nights with a flashlight and buckets. Lol

Well I guess if you could turn off all flow and only run an air pump, and add phytoplankton and rotifers in a high enough concentration, and somehow prevent the parents from eating them......anything is possible. ;)
