So I've had these two clowns together since I bought them together from a fellow reefer a few months ago. They were quite young, but the girl did occasionally bully the boy and he'd do his happy dance. But usually they swam apart in the tank.
Well this has been getting much worse lately. He immediately happy dances for her when she is near but she still bites at him and sometimes knocks him into the rocks before going back to her side of the tank. He will hide under the pagoda cup or in the back corner opposite her. He's been hiding more and more lately. And I see him see her coming and he runs away and when she catches him he immediately happy dances. He has never once been aggressive towards her or threatening in anyway. Aside from her bullying, they are never together.
Are these just two incompatible clowns? I keep expecting them to get better and they just aren't. What do you guys think?
