Clownfish eating eggs

So I have a pair of clowns that are finally starting to lay eggs. I think this is their first try... But they're both eating the eggs immediately after their laid, mom and dad. Is this normal for their first attempt?

Very normal. They might even do it a couple more times, which again is normal.

They weed out all the bad eggs that way

Leave them alone. They'll eat their eggs for a few spawns if it's a good pair, or they'll always eat a majority of the eggs if they're a bad pair. Some clownfish don't seem to learn how to be good parents..

It is very normal in fact it is very good for them.
