Clownfish eggs...explain 8 days please

If clowns laid eggs on the PM of 8/30, is tonight, 9/6, day 7? I'm counting 7 24 hr periods since they completed laying. Or am I supposed to count the laying day as day 1, making today day 8?

Is this right? Could they hatch tonight? Tank stays 80-81 degrees.

Today is Day 7.

But, they don't necessarily always hatch on the same day.

You will probably need to watch them for a couple of spawns before figuring their hatch pattern out...at least I always do.

May have to check on them every 15min after lights out to make sure they don't hatch on you tonight.

I would call this day 8 since you count the day they laid the eggs. At 80 - 81* it could take longer to hatch.

They are Occys.

Lights went out at 10, so I am checking every now and then. This old man will do good to stay up past 12 though.
