Clownfish Eggs...

tcamos

Reef, Crustacean, Puffers
Just thought I would share...I have two pair of clowns, my A. ocellaris I've had for 6 years...I came home from out of town to find a clutch of eggs neatly afixed to a rock just under the anemone's disk.

I will take some nicer photos with the good camera later but for now I just thought I would share this quick shot with the little camera.

They are in the main reef tank so I don't really see any way I can raise them. They are in a sebae (H. crispa). Same purple tips but different anemone.

If you had a fry tank ready. You could wait til the night of the hatch and use a flashlight to attract the fry to to the top of the water. Then gently scoop them out using a specimen container. It's not impossible. Nice crispa. I have one too but the tentacles are more green and the tips are blue. Any chance you could get a pic showing the whole anemone?

This photo is a bit old. The anemone is much larger than this now.
Of course I still have the RBTA I got from you and it's grown about 3 inches too. As much as I love my sebae the RBTA is still my favorite. The only think I really like about the sebae is that it was about the size of a drink coaster when I first got it so all that growth has been in my tank.
