Clownfish finicky eater

Hey all.

I have a percula clown and a black ocellaris clown sharing a tank. They get along great and have no problems.

The ocellaris clown will eat anything I put in the tank. I mainly feed cyclopeeze wafers and hikari mysis.

The percula, on the other hand, doesnt seem too interested in either of these. Occasionally he will pick at them but most of the time he spits them out.

Any ideas on different foods to try?

I dont want to go out and purchase a whole range of different foods if it wont eat them...gets pricey!

You might try some frozen or live brine shrimp along. My clown loves the Marine Grow from Red Sea. You just have to try everything. HTH

My maroon doesn't like the gel based frozen food. Will eat alots of things but does seem to go thru moods.
