I was looking at my clowns today and noticed that the second dorsal fin on both of them are looking a little ragged. I have not noticed them scrapping with anyone. They get a little rowdy in their nem occasionally. The other night I also noticed the male picking up sand/aragonite by the nem in his mouth, swimming up about 1/3 of the way in the tank and spitting it out. I think a remember reading that this is something they do when getting an area ready to spawn. Is this fin damage anything to be concerned about or do you think they are just getting a little frisky with one another and damaging them?
