clownfish have buldging bellys

i have a pair of ocellaris clownfish and i noticed today that their stomachs look really fat and dark. the only thing i can think of is that they have a bunch of poop in them and they havent released it. does anyone know what this could be? their stomachs look fat and have a hint of green. thanks

i know i would post a picture but my dad and brother are both gone with their cameras. just imagine two ocellaris clownfish with fat greenish bellys. they arent acting any different, they are eating like usual, very active, but have fat greenish bellys. do fish get constipated? can i buy some fish exlax anywhere? haha jk

i added a brain coral about 2 weeks ago. no i dont feed any shrimp.

Yes you do fee shrimp.

[i}i feed once a day. i mix the food up every few days between frozen formula 2, frozen mysis, cyclopeeze, and prime reef. [/B]

mysis are mysis shrimp.... I don't worry too much about my fish. When I feed alot I notice the huge belly on my felmale ocellaris... I expect that.

Maybe someone else in your house has been feeding the fish more. I hope it is that :-)

Yes fish can get constipated. I'm not saying that is definitely your problem, but I would let them go a day or two without food and see if that helps. Feeding only frozen cyclop-eeze for a couple days after the fast seemed to help my fish.
