Clownfish hosting a Frogspawn??

Lately I've noticed that my Clown has been dusting up the sand quite a bit in the area where I recently placed a Frogspawn. He had done it a bit previously, but seems to be relentless ever since I added the coral, CONSTANTLY covering the rock around it with sand.

I didn't think much of it until today when I went to rearrange some of the rocks and do some housekeeping when he tried to bite me several times. He has never been aggressive with me before. He certainly has never been shy, but this was a little much. It startled me and I yanked my hand out of the tank. I bled a tiny bit on my hand, but am unsure if I scraped it when I yanked it out of the tank or if he actually drew blood.

During the housekeeping, I noticed that it was whenever I got close to the Frogspawn that he would get vicious. I even tested the theory by putting the baster in the water. It didn't seem to bother him at all until I got close to the Frogspawn. The Frogspawn and Clown are roughly the same size. (He's a little over 2" in length, would be my guess). No other Clowns in the tank. Just a Coral Beauty.

Is this possible? Normal? Is it healthy to have this happen? To the fish OR coral? Can I get him to stop the aggressive behavior? Obviously I will need to perform housekeeping again in the area.

Also, can someone give me a clear definition as to what "hosting" is?

Thanks

Mine host in a hammer now and a frogspawn in the past. They will host just about anywhere in my experience.

home is where the heart is. it doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. my clowns like a brain. normal, enjoy it your window to the ocean.
