clownfish hosting eel?

I have a yellow stripe maroon clownfish and tried getting it to host about 3 anemones but it seems to be so rough immediately and the anemone doesn't acclimate and dies. Now I have a zebra moray about 3 feet long. At night he curls up under a rock and the clownfish sleeps right in the middle with him. Is it possible he is trying to host it or something. I'm noticing they are together a lot more even during the day. He also shows similar activity as hosting such as rubbing against the eel and almost looks like he is playing with him. :D

Wouldn't the eel get aggressive back. He seems perfectly fine with it. Also to the first part, is it common for clowns to be to rough with anemones and kill them?

Yes, they can. I have heard that maroon's specifically can overly 'love' on an anemone so you always want to have a nem that is a good bit bigger than the fish.
