Clownfish hosting my Flower Pot Coral

What can I do about my clownfish hosting my Flower Pot coral? The coral does not like the clownfish at all. It shows this be retracting. I already moved to the far left side of the tank. I thought since the clownfish never goes to the left side of the tank, not even for food, that this would have helped. Nope. Now the clownfish is haning out on the left side.

Can I simply move the coral to my seahorse tank? The tank is less flow and less light. The lighting is PC lighting (130w). The SG is lower at 1.023ish. The temp is cooler at around 74ish degrees.

Let me know what my best approach is.

Goniopora are often found in pretty deep water (50,60,70+ feet), so I would think that 74 degrees would work for them. Place the goni somewhere around 18" from the bulbs for a start. This shouldn't be too close or too far and it will give the polyps some room to extend upwards. The SG is on the lower end, but it should be fine.

Would a seahorse try to cling to the polyps? Just curious .

They were extending fine till one day the clowns noticed it and started hosting it. Now the the coral does not come out.

Thats why I was thinking of moving it to a cooler seahorse tank that has less light (130w Actinic PC lighting) and lower SG levels. I don't know if seahorses and flower pots can coexist.

yeah i had that same prob. with 2 clowns
my flowerpot started to die off shortly after, u could risk it and move it to the seahorse tank
