Clownfish hosting

I have an onyx perc. I got from Matt and a picasso clown I got as a present. When I got these fish they were small and so cute together. They were in a seahorse tank because I was setting up a clown tank for them. (Long story short I had to get rid of the horses and the clownfish got the tank) But during the time they were in with the horses they hosted in the traditional clownfish "corner" LOL. One of my horses was not eating well so I came up with the idea of gluing and all plastic bird feeder to a mini mag float to make a feeding station. Day one put mysis in the station and what do the clowns do? Scoop up all the mysis and spit it out, and host in the bird feeder!

That was their home, they slept in it, hardly ever left it. Well it looked ugly after a while, so I removed it and bought some xenia (which is what the onyx was hosting in at Matt's house) They could care less. Next bought a GBTA yeah they did not touch it! We tried coaxing them into it but they wanted NOTHING to do with it. Then I had an opportunity to get a very nice RBTA for a steal. And who decided to sleep by it?

My starry night Blenny. Then I tried something I did not think would work, seeing as I have tried everything else! I plastered, and when I mean plastered my tank was covered with pictures of perc. clownfish hosting in BTA's you could only see in my rank through a little gap :) 2 days later.....

The onyx is hosting! I am convinced that the pictures did the trick! Just wanted to share my weird and long story. And hope that if anyone else has trouble with their clowns hosting they will give this method a try.

I have had a pic up for about 3 weeks now. Last night my girlfriend noticed my black ocellaris clown swimming close to the anemones mouth. He kept going like a 1/2 inch away from it but has not hosted it yet. I really hope this is a sign he will go in because I was extatic to see just that They never go anywhere near that thing.
