Clownfish I.D.

I am curious what type of clown you think this is? I couldn't figure it out with the white dot on its dorsal fin and the stripe on the tail not connecting all the way around. It's much lighter orange than the Occelaris' and tomato's its surrounded by and has much brighter white rings.

Any idea?

I would also say Percula. You should probably remove that Tomato clown though...

Try taking a bunch of zoomed in pics. If you can clearly catch one of the dorsal spines flared up then we will know.

When counting the spines on the dorsal fin, do I only count the ones closest to the head or go all the way to the second fin?

I know about the 10 for True perc and 11 for occelaris. I'm just trying to determine how to count them.

The tomatoe was in there at the LFS. This pic was taken in their tank.

the eyes are much better for ID than trying to count the dorsal spines, occs have "muddy" eyes while true percs hace clear eyes with a well defined pupil. That looks like a perc to me

i would also say percula. You should probably remove that tomato clown though...
