I am curious what type of clown you think this is? I couldn't figure it out with the white dot on its dorsal fin and the stripe on the tail not connecting all the way around. It's much lighter orange than the Occelaris' and tomato's its surrounded by and has much brighter white rings.

Any idea?

When counting the spines on the dorsal fin, do I only count the ones closest to the head or go all the way to the second fin?

I know about the 10 for True perc and 11 for occelaris. I'm just trying to determine how to count them.

The tomatoe was in there at the LFS. This pic was taken in their tank.
 
the eyes are much better for ID than trying to count the dorsal spines, occs have "muddy" eyes while true percs hace clear eyes with a well defined pupil. That looks like a perc to me
