Clownfish jumped out... but...

So last week, my dog over to my tank and seems to jump around. I go over there thinking he is playing it a bug. But it's my clown fish. Oh no! Anyway, not sure how long he was out. I pick him up, and throw him back in. It takes a few seconds, but he starts to move. Whew, I think he will be okay.

Fast forward to today. He is small so I don't observe him to much. I look at him today, and he is swimming upside down! Other than that, he looks okay. I throw some flakes in, and he turns right side up to eat. Then after that, he goes back to swimming upside down. Any idea what is going on?

I'd say he probably has swim bladder issues, likely due to internal trauma. If he can turn back right-side-up to eat, he's probably gonna be okay... Especially if he doesn't look stressed.
Is he breathing fast?
How big is his tank? Any other tankmates?
Keep him away from mean stuff and give him clean water. Observe him more for a little while, too, make sure he's not stressed or seemingly in pain.

He doesn't look stressed. He's not breathing fast. The tank is 105 gallon, and there are tangs in the tank, along with his paired clown. They both are always in the corner of the tank anyways. Since they are small little guys.

I can't help as far as the clown itself, but would highly recommend you get your tank covered to prevent a future incident. Hoping it pulls through for you either way!
