Clownfish not accepting Rogger's food?

Hey everyone. I just purchased some Rogger's complete blend reef food. I have heard that this food is great and highly recommended. However, my clownfish do not seem to like it. I manually spread it into smaller bits between my fingers, and clowns will sometimes grab them, but then they always spit it right back out. Will they ever come to accept the new food, or should I just stick with their favorite (pellets)?

Thanks!

My LFS started stocking this food, but they got so many complaints, just like you describe, that they stopped ordering it.

I've found that my clownfishes will basically eat anything, if they don't like it ... it probably isn't that tasty :)

Have you tasted it yourself?

My clowns will eat anything at this point. Just had to train them for a while. Once they are hungry and curious they will eat.

Try using a turkey baster to target feed. After a while they will understand that the baster means food and they will eat. Worked for me with frozen shrimps.

Also, Clowns love Cyclopsese. Mine go nuts for it.

I thaw my roggers and then drop it into a vortech to break it up. Fish like it just fine but I will be going back to rods when I run out.
