Hi everyone,
i got 2 perculas about 5 days back and they havent been eatin anything, i tried flakes, frozen artemia, live BBS, frozen prawns, sinking pellets, flakes but still they havent been eating. yesterday i observed stringy white poo from both the clowns so i treated them with metrogyl(metronidazole) @ 1ml per liter( i got liquid form of metrogyl) i gave them a bath in metrogyl water for 30min and a fresh water dip and then put them back in the display tank, should i do this treatment again? how long should i continue this treatment, also should i move the fish to a QT tank?? Tried searching for prazi-pro but it aint available. i have got a club anemone , cleaner crew , a damsel and another sebae which are goin on perfectly well, am concerned about these two. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards

All new fish should be in a QT. If these clowns have any parasites or disease, all your fish are vulnerable. Why the metrogyl? its an antibiotic and you haven't mentioned anything that sounds like a bacterial infection. The fact that you have two clowns not eating is unusual. Do you know if they were tank bred or wild-caught? Any skin problems? Five days without food won't hurt them; but most clowns should be eating I'd get them into a quiet QT, let them settle in and watch them closely. Don't treat for anything that doesn't have symptoms. Prazi is readily available online and de-worming them with Prazi is always a good idea. As they both came from the same place and both are not eating, I suspect something came with them.

the fish are tank bred, i cant get prazi here, if i order online it will take atleast a month til i get em and i doubt the clowns can make it. i heard fenbendazole can be used to treat internal parasites, any idea on this??
