Hi guys sorry to post as I'm sure many do about these things but I'm worried about my clownfish. Got the pair before Christmas and I've noticed some odd behavior in the female and some spots developing, I think. I attached a pic from the day I got him, the free swimming pic, and the one near the sand bed is today. I can't really tell if the stuff on his chin is discoloration or what. Maybe I'm being paranoid.
He's been hanging out on the sand bed and seem a to sleep there sorta sideways. I know clowns are weird, but not sure. He eats fine and I can't really notice any irregular breathing. He swims around and stuff fine.
I am currently setting up a five gallon sick tank just in case, but if it's a parasite, I don't really want it to hatch before I get him in there. I plan on using tank water for the beneficial bacteria, and I have a filter sponge I'll throw in the HOB filter that my hospital tank came with.
Do you guys think I should quarantine him? Thoughts?
