Clownfish size for breeding

How big do Ocellaris clowns get before breeding? I have had a pair for 2 years, and one grew really fast, and is staying around 3inches and maybe growing more now. The other smaller one is catching up in size. Should I worry? He's pushing 2 inches now, and I thought one would stay under 2 inches.

How big do the males and females get?

My spawning oscellaris are about the same size as yours. Female is roughly 3.5 in. and the male is somewhere between 2.5-3 in. I would not be worried unless you see some serious aggression/fighting.

My breeders are 3.5 inch female and 3 inch male. The female has been with me at least 7 years and the male was introduced about 3 years ago. I wasn't really planning for a spawn, just wanted to have 2 clowns. Now I have over 150?!? Patience is the key, with good diet and good water quality, they will spawn once they feel safe and in "control" of their surroundings.

Okay, that's what I was wondering is if the male is going to continue to grow. I was a little worried it was becoming female as well, but I will let them continue to grow happily :)

Thank you for your help!

Good info for future reference.

Do you have a thread of your breeding (and fry-feeding) setup? Would love to see pics!
