Clownfish Tank Mates?

I have a 29-gallon Nano Cube that houses 2 black & white clowns, their BTA, 1 large pajama cardinal and various LPS and SPS coral. There had been two other cardinals in the tank for a few months, but the two clowns picked them to death last week. I'm not sure what got into them... Everyone had been getting along so well until then. I enjoy the clowns, but I also want to keep something else in there for some variety. These are the nastiest creatures I've had to deal with. The large female makes it almost impossible to clean the tank without having to remove her or bat her away with an algae scraper. The male just follows suit, but isn't near as aggressive.

What are your suggestions as to a tank mate for these clownfish that can hold its own against them?

At this point, none. They have established the tank as their territory and will likely kill anything you add. They may be getting ready to spawn.

That may be the case. I thought the behavior was out of their norm. They don't usually pick at other fish... I will be keeping a close eye on them to see what happens. I sure hope the large cardinal will be able to stand up to those little devils. Luckily, I haven't noticed any harassment towards him.
