so i came home from work the other night to find one of my sisters saddleback clowns in her nano tank, with a huge welt upon his eye, the eye itself is still intact, but it is swollen

ive seen this only once on a fish in my marine biologys teachers tank

parasite? what kind of treatment should i do?

Hard to say for sure w/ out pic, but that would be my guess.
I would QT the one w/ eye problem and keep eye on others.
I believe popeye is more of a fungal than parasite.
There are several kinds of meds, just maracyn comes to mind, check w/ LFS for what they have.

IMO, looks like pop-eye... from my experience this is ususally due to poor water quality. I suggest QT and water changes and it should go away in a couple weeks.

What are your water paramters?
