Clownfish with white sore under mouth...HELP!!!

Good evening everyone... I'm pretty new to RC, and fairly new to the reef keeping hobby as well... I have a 29 gallon FOWLR tank with one ocellaris clown, and a cleaning crew of snails and hermit crabs.

Tonight I got home from work and went up to check up on him, and saw he has a white sore under his lower lip, about the size of his eye (he is about 2 inches long). I do not think this is ich... I am at a loss for what this could be. I did have another clown in the tank with him, but he had to be removed, because he was nipping at the one I have now...

After looking at him, I went on to feed him and he is eating fine, and swimming around as normal, so like I said, I am at a loss for what would be wrong with him.

Any help or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

In that time span sure...... Without a pic it is only a guess but i would say that there is a strong possibility of one biting the other. This should calm down and all will be well :)

It is possible it could be fungus related....

Any chance you could get a pic?

My guess is still the biting though BUT it is to hard to say w/out a pic...

How does he look today?

I will try to get a picture tonight...I do not have a very good camera so I will have to get it outside of the tank...any suggestions how? He looks the same today, the sore isn't as white, but is just as big. Maybe he just has an acne problem? :-P

Okay...my best description for what it looks like without being home or having a picture for you guys is...well he looks like he got punched in the lip...and now has a bit fat white lip, but under his lip. If that makes sense...

Sorry for the wait on the pictures! I did manage to get some pics of the VERY uncooperative clown last night, but didn't realize I would have to resize them to get them to be under 50K for posting. I will work on that tonight when I get home.
He is eating and swimming around as normal, and the sore doesn't look as big today. The nice lady at one of the local LFS's said that if he is eating healthy then I really shouldn't have to worry about it...and I must say, he is eating like a champ!

photobuck will resize them for you as you upload.

My true perc got what looked like a white scab or something on her bottom lip. I did FW/Antibiotic dip and it fell off the next day , then grew back and I dipped again and it fell of and grew back. I decided no more dips since I dont like to stress my fish and it eventualy healed up on its own.

MY advice is if the fish is eating and acting healthy, then let the fish fight it off on its own. Now days I only get involved if the fish looks like it will definetly die if I dont. fish are tough.

Arati, That's EXACTLY what it looks like under his lip! But yeah he is a tough little bugger. It's not as bad as when I first saw it so I think I will just not worry about it until it gets too bad, but that would mean it would take a turn in the opposite direction as it is improving every day. By the way, I like your hobby experience... lol

Evenin' all...
These are the best pictures I could get of the little one... he wasn't really having the whole flash thing going on. Anyways here goes...
