Clowns damaging Anemone?

I'd love to know if anyone else has experienced this...

I have a small (3-5") H. Crispa in my tank that seems to fluctuate from looking wonderful one minute to looking at deaths door the next day.

It has attached itself to numerous rocks at different times before moving two or three days later. It is as if it finds a nice spot but then something causes it to move on again...

I've got in tonight and it really didn't look well (weird as it really looked healthy yesterday. I've fed it by hand which hasn't really made a difference as it seems to have very little appetite which makes me think it does not have long left...

My lights are on a timer and they have just gone off...as I walked past i noticed my two clowns (occelaris) rubbing furiously against the nem...where they rub, the tentacles look "withered" for want of a better description..

I'm starting to wonder if my clowns are being too rough for my nem...can this happen?

As I've said the nem varies between 3-5"and I have two occelaris and also an anemone crab that snuck in to my tank on some living rock..

All my parameters are ok so I wondered if clowns can be "too friendly" with their host nem?

If this is the case, I only have one tank so do I need to partition it to separate the nem and the clown to give it a chance?

Any advice would be welcome...

2 clowns on a anemone that small will be rough on it. you might want to isolate your nem somehow to give it some breathing room.
