Your hermits may be doing in your snails, but I don't know what's happening to the hermits. That anemone isn't doing it though. What kind of clowns do you have, and how big are they?

Queen conch is basically a big snail. Unlikely that is it.
Not that I have seen, because are those usually a one inch or so shrimp?
Queen conch eat algae; however, many times people sell whelks as queen conch and many of those eat other snails. I've seen more than a few threads where people have caught their supposed "queen conch" eating their other snails and it was really a whelk. http://www.reefland.com/articles/rho/identify-this-conchs-and-whelks
Nope. Some get very large, and are stomatopods, not shrimp.
