Clowns Fanning Sand

I got to new clowns and just have put them from Qt to DT and they are fanning sand like crazy. I have only had a large tomato clown before that done this every once in a while but mostly stayed in its anemone. These are occeleris clowns. What does this behavior mean? Anything special?

Mine do the same thing, they are digging for worms or pods. The entire back of my tank has been dug up on a daily basis by these little monsters. :-)

They are making a nest. Not necessarily to lay eggs but staking out territory.

Mine have cleared out a back corner for well over a year and they just started laying eggs on the back glass.
