Is it possble for two clowns to no longer be interested in each other?

I have a 120 gallon tank with two saddle back clown fish which I believe are 3-5 years old (came with the tank). They were always swimming with each other for at least a year.

I then introduced a carpent anemone and now they are at two different sides of the tank. The one only comes out to eat and then hides back in the corner.

I had this happen , not when I added a anemone, but one day she wasn't haven it and gave the male the boot. They eventually made up, just keep a eye to make sure he's not getting to beat up.

How long did it take? I feel bad for him. He has been in the doghouse and I am not sure he even know what he did wrong. Should I offer counseling?

Awww what a happy ending! Maybe they just got into a fight because he wanted kids and she didn't think she was ready...? :D

I wonder if saddlebacks are just like this. I've had the same experience. My female evicted the male from their LTA and the male hid for several weeks in the rocks on the opposite side of the tank. Now they appear to be getting along fine again.

The female is the most freak-out-able fish I've ever owned. She threatens to jump anytime there's a slight disturbance in the tank.

That is exactly what happened. He was pretty beat-up with sores all over him, I almost took him out of the tank.

In everyone's experience, what is gong to happen with the eggs? How long until they hatch?
