Clowns have been Stung

Fretfreak13

I am not a boy!
Well, the female clown fish picked a brutal home, that's for sure. And of course the male follows her everywhere, so they both have been dancing around my Galaxia coral. They must love the pain. They're both loaded with little black dots, which I've been told are stings. They don't seem bothered, but geeze I would think that they'd get the hint and pick a new home.

So, what to do? Will they heal on their own if I rehome my galaxia? Or is it really not that big of an issue, could I just leave it in without serious health problems for the fish?

Anytime a Clownfish tries to acclimate itself to a new host (coral, anemone, etc.) it will get stung. After a few days they will get used to it and the stings will fade. I guess what I'm saying is: don't worry about it, it's normal.
