Hey guys just need some advice. I have had these 2 clowns together now for the last 3 months and they have done the normal fight for dominance thing on and off. Most of the assertion coming from the larger clown, but today the smaller male has flipped out. Both the mouths seem torn up and the smaller one if chasing the larger clown all around the tank. Just wondering if i should separate them or leave them to sort it out?

I would separate them. If they haven't paired up in 3 months, it's not going to happen.

separate em and let them try pairing again in a few months.
very weird fish, but also very cool. I had a mated pair for years, that when moved to a new tank, did the same basic thing. Was a shame, I really liked the pair. I saved the smaller one, still have the larger one. She is now VERY aggressive, if my hands go in the tank, she is nipping at me.
But, I have started hand feeding the anemones, and at that time,.,,,, she leaves me alone.
