My tank is 125g. It is about 6 months mature. I planned the lighting for a possible RBTA some day. Well I bit the bullet and finally decided to get one. Just a quick story.
They have their "spot" where there was a rock of green frilly mushrooms. They have pretty much aggrivated it to near death. So tonite I bought the RBTA and move the frilly rock higher up where it can recover. I carefully fit the RBTA into the crevice where the frilly rock used to be. Thinking well the clowns ALWAYS go back to that spot at night, so maybe they'll see it.
To finish the story. The RBTA seems settled (for now, I know it COULD move) and the female clown SWATTED at the damn thing! I swear she is such a weird fish. She swats at newcomers like starfish and such. But swatting an ANEMONE!? Anyway an hour later once the lights were off. I shined the flash light and both of the clowns were snuggled in the RBTA!! I have been watching them and she's actually swatted it a few more times that I've noticed. But they are back inside it again and hosting!
Does the swatting thing sound weird or normal to you? Just thought I'd share my success story!! (so far). . The RBTA is bigger than both of them combined, so I think it can handle them!
