Clowns sleeping in separate anemones

Hi all,

I wanted to see if there was anything to my observation that my pair of clowns sleep in separate anemones.

Female is a naked ocellaris clown and the male is a regular ocellaris clown

I have 4 rbtas in my tank, there is one big main one that is about 4 inches and 3 smaller ones.

The female sleeps in the big one at night and the male sleeps in the next biggest one

Is there anything to this?

They've been a pair for close to a year and are always swimming next to each other. They live in a 25 gallon tank.

I would ask for pics but this is a family forum and pics of a naked female would be bad :D

either way my breeding pair also sleep in diffrent anemones sometimes yet it doesn't stop them from laying eggs.

After having multiple clowns in the same tank
Some male and females like separate housing
Just like real life to much of a good thing LOL
