I have a pair of regular clowns about 2.5 years old and I just got a baby hippo tang about 3mnths ago. The tang is a little bigger than a quarter.
90% of the time they are swimming together and rubbing up against each other, I think their pack behavior is odd due to . So the past few night when peeking into the tank I noticed the two clowns have the hippo up against the tank wall and they are balled up around covering him.(cant get a picture they swim away when I try to take a picture.)
Anybody have a similar experience with this happening? I find it extremely odd. I have owned one other hippo and two different sets of clowns several years ago that lived with each other and never noticed any type of relationship close to this.
