Clowns

I currently have an occellaris and I have some questions. I am considering getting another one.

I do not have a total understanding of pairing. Is it just that the clowns are inseperable or is there more to pairing that that?

I am also wanting to get an anemone for mine to host in. If I get a second clown and they pair will this affect the chances of them hosting in a anemone?

Thanks for the help.

hey willie pairing is a cool thing that some fish do they form bonds or mated pairs and eventually given the right conditions will spawn

picking the second clown should be easy any juvenile ocellaris that comes out of a tank with a group of sexless juveniles will pair up with your clowns
you will want a smaller clown than the one you have now it will become the male and the clown you have now is probobly allready a female.

How long has your tank been set up? For an anemone you need to have had it set up at least 6 months. If you pair the clown you have now, it will have no affect on the hosting at all.
