I have a large colony of Eagle Eyes on a large rock I'd be happy to share. They grow/spread quickly. I have an alterior motive - I want to watch and learn how to frag them myself in the future. :)

I did have a brown bag frag swap last year at the restaurant in June I believe. It was for club members only. Brown bag just means that no tanks are set up. Just people bring Frag to trade and sale for the newbies. Like to do this for the club every year. Already told bill about.

Jen I really won't be able to have a fraging demonstration. Won't be able to have the equipment. Also we got enough to talk about at the meeting.

Thanks Zef

Me an ultranova will be there. We can bring some softies if need be. Also have a hydno frag for $10 or trade.

Anybody want to frag my Eagle Eyes?

Anybody want to frag my Eagle Eyes?

We are coming to AC Sat afternoon to pick up the club PAR meter, get RO water, etc. I don't have the tools, the knowledge, or the skill to frag these Zoas - but if someone else does, I can bring the rock to AC with me. I even have a bag of acylic frag plugs.

I would want my rock back and the original plug w/ the Eagle Eyes that is attached to the rock. We could get the rock back from whomever at the meeting next week - or just drop it back off at AC - I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind just putting it in a tank somewhere until my husband could pick it up. The colony has basically taken over the rock and I figure they will grow back quickly.

Just let me know if anyone has the time/energy to do the fragging. Thanks.

Zef and Jennie, if I get to come I could bring my inland saw (frag saw) and plenty of plugs and we could cut up the zoas. Id just need some people to bring some super glue (Gel) to glue them down. Depending on how big the piece is I should be able to cut it up pretty good and still make them look really nice. Zef I would also bring the plastic tub I sit it in while I cut so it doesnt get water anywhere since its a wet saw. Just let me know what everyone thinks.

May want to keep the meeting on track as the elections are the topic of the day, And the Members input on what they want to get accomplished is the goal of this meeting IMO. After that is done then let it rip as far as i'm concerned.

Good point Bill - and that is why I offered to drop the rock off yesterday so it could be fragged before the meeting. However, didn't realize you actually chopped the rock up! LOL I thought you scraped/cut the zoas off the rock with a scalpel (shows how little I know!). I''m kinda attached to the rock (its Carribean Live Rock from AC, encrusted with coraline and small porite colonies), and it is large (5 X 10 X 3 approx) and heavy (i think it weighed 8 pounds) and is the top rock for my reef. :D
