If this is pesimism, I apologize, but $25 to enter????

Do you mind if I ask why the price is so high? Do we get a frag or two or something for that admission cost?

Is this different than a frag swap? I guess that's what I thought it was when I started reading, but swaps are not usually this much to enter.

I'm just curious is all. Sorry if this post sounds like a downer. I don't intent it to be, I just want to understand what my money gets me ;)

Don't mean to speak for Boyd but.....

Events like this cost $$$$$$. You have to pay, or at least reimburse, the expenses for the speakers, not to include permits, rental equipement, costs related to setting up/closing down, advertisement, etc...

You know have expensive Rod is! (actually the ladies tell me he's fairly cheap).

As Ed said, this is a two plus day educational reefing event with a major frag swap as part of it. If you are only interested in the frag events, you can get in to them for $5 each day.

If you take a look at IMAC, which has educational seminars with lots more speakers and a larger vendor area, but no frag swap at a cost of $149 per person, Fragapalooza is a bargain!

So if you just want to attend the frap swap and pass on the speakers, it's $5.00 a day? I just want to be clear. :)

Yes, frag swap & vendor area only is $5.00 per day. :D

I was skeptical also, but Boyd put into perspective with the cost to have the speakers, and all of the other costs involved with doing functions like this. Lets support CMAS/OFA and make Fragapalooza HUGE!!! I can't wait to see some of the deals!

I had the pleasure of hearing all those speakers at IMAC. Well, Rod wasn't a listed speaker, but you know Rod. All you had to do was be in the vendor area and you heard him "speak. !!! LOL

All of them are worth THAT PRICE !!!!! (Rod might actually pay YOU at times to listen to him any place else however)

They will always speak on different topics too.

Jeni is right! They will definitely have different topics than what was heard at IMAC!

Boyd, I heard that you wanted to hear the LEDs for nano tank seminar again?

:D :D :p

It is open to any seller, I do not recall the cost of the table, but I do recall it is enough space for a 2x4 tank, water and power for 2 days.
Also Dave has had me working some raffle donations, Just got one from Ocean's Blend. It's the 2 part additive, in 5 GALLON BUCKETS. ANYONE NEED 10 GALLONS OF ADDITIVE?
