CO2 Refills

Where does everyone get there CO2 tanks filled in our neck of the woods? I have a 20lb tank that I need to get filled and trying to find somewhere I can get it filled locally.

its on 180th torrence ave.

Even closer to you is warped sports. It anothe paintball place. Its near cline and 30 next to the trek bike store.

Hmm. Paintball? Never thought of that, but they do refill CO2 all the time. We've got one of those in Uptown Hobart, right by the Algae Store.

Better make sure it's food grade CO2. I read paintball CO2 is different.

fire extinguisher companies have set-ups for this as well. there is one on calumet i think, may be worth a phone call.

There are lots of companies that sell CO2. Some of them are geared toward while-you-wait customer service while other's aren't.

The fire extinguisher place, and the sporting stores probably provide while-you-wait customer service. Airgas typically asks you to drop off or exchange your tank for next-day service. Their prices may be cheaper (they make the gas and sell it wholesale to the other guys) but IME they're not geared toward walk-in/walk-out service.

Pesc. - I used to work for that paintball place in hobart. And I used to full my 100 lb CO2 tank at the welding supply place just east of town on 130. I can't remember the name but they filled our 100 lb while we waited.
