Check craiglist depends on your tank size get a 10lb or 20lb so u dont have to refill often. When u buy the cylinder check the expiration date on the inspection date otherwise u will have to pay for inspection fee. To refill airgass in santa ana will do it for u.

You can rent them from Airgas. There's pros and cons renting and buying. If you want a pretty shinny clean tank then purchase a new tank but you will have to have the tank hydro tested every five years. Another con of buying your own tank and trying to keep ur shinny tank is trying to find somewhere to fill the tank. Most companies like airgas or welding supply shops usually swap tanks.

I bought my cylinders on Amazon. I prefer food grade CO2 from beer distributor rather than industrial grade at welding supply. Beer distributors are iften cheaper, too. I like O'Shea Brewing in San Juan Capistrano.

Thanks for all the replies. I called airgas in santa ana. They said if i dont have an account, I can just buy tank from them for $120 and swap it everytime.

Great. Does your local airgas fill it for you?
