I know the pics I took are a bit hard to see...

Here's some SketchUps I made that show it a bit better.
(Initially created for stand designs, not shown however)

The opening at the top of the C2C is actually 2.5" from the back of the tank. The glass is 4' x 9" (give or take for a snug fit)

I will be building a steel frame stand for this setup as I will be incorperating a wave device (vortech possibly) or DIY.

Put a black acrylic lid on it to block jumpers, snails, & light for algae growth.

that takes care of eznet2u's items 7,8, & 9.

I also agree with 11, he's the bad ***.

haahah yes, I am happy to have Bean's input as usual.

Using a cover is a great Idea actually! I think I will take a walk to the acrylic shop across the street and see about some solid dark color 4' material and maybe make a design for that.
