Coco worm help.

I got a coco worm yesturday from the local pet store, at first when i put him in my tank he kinda peaked alittle out then would go hide then peek then hide. but he hasnt come out in about 15 hours now, i can still see down his tube and kinda see him so i dont think he bailed or anything..., my wife is worried somethings wrong and since its one of those pretty pink ones i thought id post.
this normal behavior, or is my worm in trouble?

also my water perams were tested at the LFS i bought it at and everything was normal.

also wanted to add, the coco worm has a feather duster attached to it(came that way) and the feather duster has been acting normally. one fo the reasons im kinda worried:/

If it bails out, it shouldn't effect the feather duster. I had one that blew it's top, came back a month later, then bailed out.
