coco worm spitting out brown seeds?

hey guys, just got myself a coco worm. Tonight i turned off the pumps to feed and the coco worm released what looks to be little brown seeds. i think a few dozen came out from its tube after the pumps turned off. what is it??

Excreting waste, they don't eat everything they catch. The particles they catch are brought down the feathers to the mouth area. They eat what is the correct size, the rest is put into a "mucus cocoon" or brown seeds and let loose.
