Congrats James, nice image. I was going to do something similar and then saw yours so had to regroup.
Jesse the blue is actually from a gelled flash. Trying to get this flash/lighting thing figured out. It's very new to me but I've come across some stunning stuff by others. It's been interesting to experiment.

Jesse, a rules clarification please. When we did this last, there was a "fresh shot" rule, where the picture had to be shot after the announcement of the topic. It encouraged conceptualizing and executing a shot in line with the theme, versus going through one's catalog of images to select something that fits. Are we still doing that?
Thanks.
Congrats on the win JamesHolt. Nice shot.
I'd probably have gone macro on the rightmost ice cube. Lot of interesting variations there.

I had planned on doing a near macro, but for some reason I couldn't get the cold "smoke" to form that day.. (humidity, temp? Not sure)
Normally you open the freezer door and it rolls out, but not when you want it to.
I had a piece of thin plywood jammed in the freezer making a shelf, with the door propped open, and a black tee-shirt covering the plywood..
Tripod and camera stuck close to the freezer and wife going "WTH are you doing??"
