They throw off little sprouts all the time i have to cut away..

I bought one piece a couple months ago. Now I have 4...Good for a noob like me waiting for other things to grow taking up some space.

FWIW when these corals really fill out just use some sharp scissors and cut the top off. The stump might look a little funny for the first month or so, but given the right conditions it will grow back over time. This will also keep the coral from dropping a ton of branches all over your tank too.
