Coming back to reefing. 29 BioCube questions

Picked up a used 29G biocube from my brothers friend. Its open top with aftermarket LED's for lighting, stock pump, 100w heater, etc.

Need to get a skimmer for it. Money isn't "I'm dead broke" kind of tight but its definitely not 150$ skimmer easy either.

Looking for suggestions for a good bang for the buck quality skimmer that will ideally hang on back so I can use one of the back chambers as a mini chaeto fuge.

It looks like the remora is no longer being made? AquaC got bought out or something and every single product on their website is out of stock, as is everywhere else.

Aquamaxx 1.5 is like 230 bucks. Way out of my price range

I would check Craigslist for a used one. That's how I picked up mine. I see them on occasion for about $100.

I ended up getting a remora from my brother. Now I need a new light.


Eyeballing the Kessil 160 but damn they are expensive. I want to do a mixed reef with SPS and LPS, probably some RFA or mini maxies.
