Coming from San Jose, which LFS to visit for Maxima or Crocea

I will visiting Sacramento tomorrow, someone suggested Exotic Aquarium for being the most reasonably priced on clams, can someone suggest other LFS for nice teardrops or tiger stripe maxima, thanks in advance.

I went to Ost aquarium, It is just off capital city freeway. Its Ost and 30th is the cross street.

They had some big nice ones. I dont know How much they were.

Other place is Your reef in roseville. www.yourreef.com They always have some really nice clams. I got a derasa from john about 2 weeks before Christmas.

And there is Coral Reef Shop on madison ave in sacramento. Dont know what they got now. But its a nice store to stop by and take a peek.

do you know how far O aquarium is from Exotic?

It's only about 10 minutes between. Both O Street and Exotic have an abundance of crocea, but they only have standard blues and purples. Exotic has some maximas.

You'll want to call ahead to see if they have any, but YourReef, Coral Reef Shop, and Aqua Life will get in great looking clams on occasion. They'll also have a better selection of corals, too.

coral reef shop has a ton of clams on hand right now. mainly crocea, and squamosa?. 1 dersa? last time i was there. the firendliest service in town and well priced

Exotic has a couple of gold teardrops in the 5-6" range. Some of the babies might be tiger-striped.

He knows Rommel well enough . I met Africangrey at Rommel's a while back . I think Rommel is away on vacation though.. I don't remember if he is supposed to be back yet or not ?
