comline 9004 & 6208

Will these work in the same tank together? I understand correct the wavebox will produce a 1inch wave and the skimmer prefers more of a constant water height or atleast under a 1 inch window for ideal operation.

I am looking to setup a small sumpless system.

Wave height is a function of tank length and typically on a tank 3-4 feet long the wave will be closer to 3/4". The best way to do this would be so the 9004 is centered on the back wall, the water height is fairly constant in the middle. The closer you get to the middle the better.
