comline filter bubbles

Roger,
I installed the comline mechanical filter with a 7200/2 electronic turbelle, and really like it. The surface skimming is far more effective than I expected.

My question is that I am getting bubbles from the discharge at higher flows which I understand may get better with time, but reading past posts, and the instructions in the catalog, it should help if I prefill the filter pot with water. I don't know how to do that, because all the water runs out when I turn the pot right side up! Is there a trick to that? I can tell there is still air in the filter pot even after half a day of running, because it tries to float when I slide the lid back.
thanks, Mike

You are doing it right, you just have to be quick and the main idea is to totally saturate the pad. The cartridge should not float, it should really be suctioned on to the intake. Make sure the pieces are lining up, trhe pump should be able to draw water in and purge all the air out rather quickly, maybe a few hours.

Ok, that makes sense - thanks for the quick reply and help Roger, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. It is already doing much better just this evening,
Mike
