Well, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Cyano does have some nice shades of red to it.

They do have some rare stuff. I've seen albino SPS for sale. I have never seen that anywhere while shopping online.

Pretty good aptasia from another Store as well.

We're talking about Iowa Pet Foods and Seascapes here. Their coral tank has horrible aiptasia problems. However, the new zero edge they just setup is strictly frags, and all are $24, which isn't too bad. They also have clams for $36.

I would say Adam's is the better coral store of the two. Adam's has aiptasia problems too, and worse, is that they will hide it and just make the good side of the coral visible to the customer, so that the side facing away from the viewing area has the aiptasia on it. However they will gladly Joe Juice any aiptasia on corals that you are buying.

PS. I didn't actually buy that "albino mushroom." I was just making a funny.

Adam's sold someone I knew a white hairy mushroom rock. She was new to the hobby, asked if it really was that color, was told that it was, and was denied a refund when she brought it back in, colored up.

Yea you're unfortunately right. I have to stick to online for everything, even dry goods.

I did get a nice open brain at Adam's a couple days ago though. I haven't bought anything else locally in quite awhile.
