I was surfing a discus forum the other day and someone mentioned a service I'd never heard of before. They said Culligan will bring large deionization tanks to your house and hook them up for a fee, and when you exhaust the resin they simply come out and bring you fresh tanks and take the old ones back where they do their re-charging of the resins (so you never have to mess with HCL or lye). The poster who mentioned this said it was $550 or so for a pair of tanks that lasted him tens of thousands of gallons and that would do crazy throughput (think gallons per minute instead of gallons per day).
Anyway, I looked on Culligan's commercial site and I found this:
http://www.culligancommercial.com/explore.cfm/diservice/
Has anyone used this or know if it's cost effectivel?
