I would love to hear opinions about the feasibility of adding a Scribbled Angel (3 inches) to a relatively new angel and butterfly reef (the tank has been established for about 7 years). The tank is a tall (30 inch) 350 gallons with the following inhabitants:

1. Juvenile Imperator (2 inches)
2. Changing Blue Face Angel (2.5 inches)
3. C. Mitratus and C. Declivis Butterfly
4. 1 Pair of C. semilarvatus
5. C. collare
6. 10 resplendant anthias

Rock work has caves and islands. Opinions welcome and if you think there is a problem, which current inhabitant would cause that issue? Thanks in advance.

I think it would be fine. Use an acclimation container to introduce it, but that is a lot of tank for some little angels. As they grow they will fill it out, but for now I think it is plenty of space for them to work things out.

Also, I would like to hear your opinion of your fish, but I think I have heard C. mitratus can be on the aggressive side? Have you noticed this?

I've got a 2.5" scribble that is very cool. You will be fine. I definitly think you can add even more than that.

I put the C. mitratus in before other butterfly fish. He ignores the C. semilarvatus. However when I put the C. declivis in, he went ballistic. So I turned off the lights for an hour, fed the tank, and all is well. But that complex of butterfly fish are VERY tough. C. declivis is a fascinating fish! I was in the tank this afternoon electrocuting aiptasia and he was right in my face checking me out.
