Complementing tank mates.

Do most of you keep a 6-line-wrasse to keep potential pest away from you clams? Maybe you keep another animal you feel helps a lot. Not that I have the dreaded pyramid snail but, I sure do not want them.

I do not have a 6 line simply because they feed on pods as well...and I house 2 mandarins as it is in my main tank. With my collection of clams I think the best thing is to inspect your clam upon arrival and make sure there are no snails on him coming in.

I keep a Yellow Coris Wrasse in my reef tank that houses 6 clams. I love the way this guy methodically inspects each clam for pyramid snails all day long and then goes to sleep once the MH lights cycles off while everyone else is still actively swimming around with the actinics on.
